You can now place your order online:
When you arrive, please walk up to our side door (we’ll have signage clearly labeling our two entrances) to pick up your order. Please do not park in front of the side door/fire hydrant, there are designated street parking spaces just a few feet up (street parking area is marked with standard 1-hour parking signs). Parking or standing with blinkers on directly in front of the shop blocks both a fire hydrant and a busy intersection and is illegal.
While we don’t have the capacity to offer curbside pick up for all customers, we are offering it as a service for any guests that are immunocompromised or otherwise unable to safely come into the shop. Please park along Driver Street between Angier Ave and Pettigrew St. just past the Bake Shop (where the street parking begins). There is a cone marking the beginning of our curbside pick up area- you can park in any street parking spot all the way down to the train tracks. Please let us know at the time of calling that you’re in need of curbside pick up, give us a description of your vehicle.
We’re excited to be working with locally-owned and operated business, Durham Courier, for bicycle delivery within a 3-mile radius of Downtown. Delivery is a flat $5 fee and they are generously waiving their fee to restaurants during these uncertain times (please consider this generosity when leaving a tip for their riders!) We will be collecting tips via credit card on behalf of Durham Courier (they are not accepting cash tips at this time for the safety of their riders).
Our goods are generally available on a first-come-first-serve basis… we bake a limited amount of each product off each morning. Feeding a crowd and need to place an advance order? You can place an order for pastries, pies, baked goods and bagels with 24 hours advance notice. Click below to view our menu, you can place your order online or by calling (919) 957-1090
While our cafe is currently closed for visitors we have set up a number of tables on our back patio for outdoor seating. We’ve carefully measured and spaced tables at least six feet apart. It’s a really lovely open space filled with planters from our friends at Bountiful Backyards- perfect for dining out when the weather is nice.
It’s difficult for us to regularly monitor the outdoor space so we ask that if you’d like to dine outside to please let one our our team members know when you arrive so we can send someone out to sanitize your table and chairs before you are seated.
